Angelina S. Lostracco, loving mother and grandmother, and kind friend to many, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2015. Angie was born in Tampa on December 23, 1930 to Joseph and Josephine Scaglione. She grew up and raised her family in the Tampa-Brandon area, before relocating to Jacksonville ten years ago to be closer to her daughter. Angie was preceded in death by her husband, John N. Lostracco, in 1981 after 27 years of marriage. She was also pre-deceased by her son-in-law, Dominic Ficarrotta II, and her sister Antoinette and brother-in-law Joseph Bartolotti.

Angelina S. Lostracco, loving mother and grandmother, and kind friend to many, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2015. Angie was born in Tampa on December 23, 1930 to Joseph and Josephine Scaglione. She grew up and raised her family in the Tampa-Brandon area, before relocating to Jacksonville ten years ago to be closer to her daughter. Angie was preceded in death by her husband, John N. Lostracco, in 1981 after 27 years of marriage. She was also pre-deceased by her son-in-law, Dominic Ficarrotta II, and her sister Antoinette and brother-in-law Joseph Bartolotti.
Angie is survived by her three children: Patty Holycross (Russell) of Jacksonville, Nick Lostracco of Oakland, CA, and Jeanette Lostracco of Boulder, CO. She also leaves her brother Henry Scaglione (Marie), and sister Josie Blandy (Richard) living in Tampa; two grandsons, Dominic, III and Christopher Ficarrotta; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Angie graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1949. Throughout her life, she was an avid gardener and world traveler. Early in her marriage Angie lived abroad in England, then vacationed with her husband in Europe, and toured Australia and New Zealand in her later years. She also enjoyed several trips to California and Colorado to visit with her children.
A funeral mass will be held in Tampa on April 23, 2015 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 821 S. Dale Mabry Hwy. Family and friends may arrive at 9:00 AM, with mass beginning at 9:30 AM, followed by a graveside memorial at 11 AM at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave.
